Apple OS X Themed by Dennis Liu Music Video is So Full of Awesomeness

I know it’s been several weeks since this video came out, but it’s so cool and full of bodacity that it is worth posting.
The following music video was created by Dennis Liu and is to the song “Again & Again” by the Bird & the Bee. It is a Mac OS X themed music video and it is awesome. Please enjoy, I insist.

The WGA Strike Gets Violent, a short movie by orenfilm

Here’s a short movie about the WGA Strike going on. A friend, Alejandro, did lighting and 2nd camera for this short, produced by orenfilm. It was apparently ’scribed’ by a Guild member, and has gotten some good response. Take a gander and enjoy. Granted, you may appreciate it more if you know a bit about scriptwriting or filmmaking.

Movie Trailer for Denzel Washington’s ‘The Great Debaters’ opening this Christmas

It looks like we’ll be treated to two movies with Denzel Washington this year! Washington will be directing and starring in “The Great Debaters” this Christmas (12/25/2007). It looks like another cool and inspiring film. It has similar elements of the traditional true story underdog sports movie with racial tension, but instead of a sports team it’s a debate team. Now that’s cool. Did I mention Denzel Washington stars and directs? Plus, Jurnee Smollet from the Cosby and Full House is in it. You remember, right? That cute little kid with curly hair…no? Well, she is, and she’s all grown up now.

Plot Summary: Set against the backdrop of the Jim Crow South and inspired by a true story, “The Great Debaters” chronicles the journey of a brilliant but volatile coach (Denzel Washington) who uses the power of words to shape a group of underdog students from a small, modest black college in East Texas into an elite debate team while challenging the social mores of the time, culminating with a groundbreaking invitation to debate Harvard’s championship team.

Spider-Man 3 released on DVD today

Spider-Man 3 is released on DVD today, October 30, 2007. Friendship, betrayal, revenge, and forgiveness - all mixed in with a thousand bad guys, one gawky good guy, two love interests, and an explosion of colorful battle scenes - that adds up to a decent moral tale, but cartoonish installment to the Spider-Man franchise. I think I gave this 2.5 stars out of 4. I don’t remember. I’ll have to look for that review.

Talk to Me is also out this week. A funny but serious biopic on a fast-talking ex-con turned social activist. (3 out of 4 stars)

Here you can play Pac-man online using your keyboard arrow keys; you can record you high scores and everything. This online version of Pac-Man was re-created and coded by Mr. Paul Neave of Neave.com*. Check out his site, it’s so awesome.

*I got this source file from Neave’s site a while back before he took the files down, so you won’t find an embeddable, high-score-keeping Flash game of Pac-Man anywhere on his site - or any where on the web really. Well that may be exaggerating a bit ;)
