Hey there. So I saw ‘Dodgeball‘. It was really funny, and it was cool to see those red rubber balls that were so much a part of my elementary school life. Sockout, Dodgeball, two/four-square, Nation Ball, Getting-Clocked-in-the-Head-By-the-Sixth-Graders….ah…those were the days.
Sure, ‘Dodgeball‘ has a predictable storyline with many laughs for sight-gag value, and the whole ‘underdog’ theme wasn’t harped on enough to make us whole-heartedly root for the Average Joes cuz we know the inevitable ending and are basically waiting for the next laugh……but none of that matters. It’s a funny movie, and it did what it was supposed to, it made me laugh….and i liked it.
I also like Ben Stiller, so I could be biased. I don’t watch every movie he comes out in, and no, not everything he is in turns to gold, but still, stiller’s cool.
Oh, hey, this weekend I’m going to Univeral Studios and hopefully to some other Los Angeles-related places. Woohoo! i’m gonna ride the new “Mummy’s Revenge” ride, yay!
