Johnny Depp is My Homeboy (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End is cool)

So I’ve now seen Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End 2.5 times. The first time I saw it, the digital print I was watching cut out in the middle, because the studio or whatever didn’t properly clear out the hard drive it was on. So I had to go back the next day. However, we did get to see it on a very high quality, crisp and clean digital print in San Francisco. and then I just finished watching it with mi familia.

Dang it’s a long movie. It’s still cool though. And I’m not a fan of pirates or pirate movies, really. I liked the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie, but only because Johnny Depp made it interesting. The second one perturbed me because it was long, convoluted and slightly boring. The third one makes up for it because Captain Jack Sparrow gets to have a lot more fun, and he’s a bit more mature, and less drunk. And we also get to enjoy Captain Barbossa’s scene-stealing piratey performance.
