the account of Michael, the man-child - (a writing for my brother, Michael)

last year for my brother’s birthday, i was at work or something and wrote this on-the-moment for a comment on his profile. it’s supposed to be humourous. :)

******************************************

this is the story and account of the beginnings of the Michael:
in the year of our Lord,
nineteen hundred, eighty and three,
on the thirteenth day of the month of September,
the Lord God did stretch forth his hand,
and whilst creating a fresh batch of human,
dropped a bit of the batter upon the earth.

and thus saith the Lord: oops.

and the Lord God, he did then pick up the bit
of batter and whilst no one was looking
did quickly form the batter into a
funny morsel of a man-child; the Lord
God did this with haste for the archangel
Michael and Gabriel the messenger had
returned from a game of tennis with
Ray-Charles the psalmist.

and the Lord God did spake unto his angels:
behold, a new man-child!

and Gabriel and Michael did look and saw
the man-child; they did give each other a
strange look betwixt themselves.
for they knew that the man-child was a
funny thing to behold. a strange boy
this creation was indeed.

and the Lord God saith:
After you, my angel and servant, Michael,
shall I name this man-child.
and unto my angel and servant, Gabriel,
do I the Lord dedicate him,
for he shall be a messenger unto his people.

now Michael the archangel and captain of the hosts
of the army of the Lord, and G
abriel the messenger angel of God,
not wanting to be unruly in the presence of the Almighty,
did say say among their own thoughts:
why doth my lord give unto this strange creature my namesake?
but aloud, Michael the archangel and Gabriel the messenger did say:
great is the Lord and worthy to be praised!
for he has created a great thing! the Michael!

and the Lord smiled. and he did give unto the
man-child a name, and called He him Michael.

and the Lord saw His creation and saw that it was good.

HAPPY BURFDAY Michael!!!
